These are my contact sheets for my main close up set. Some of these are inspired by people like Alan Ostreicher and Keith Taylor because Keith Taylor took close-up photos of flowers and Alan Ostreicher took close up photos of different materials and made them look like landscapes. . Some of these are unsuccessful like DSC_0035 and DSC_0056 ;the reason these are unsuccessful is because they're not in focus and the camera moved before the photo was taken. The close ups of different materials can be changed in photoshop to make them look like landscapes. I like this set because it has lots of my own ideas in the thought of the way the photo was taken.
These are my favourite photos from this set. The reason these are my favourites is because they stand out from the others. The first one (top left) is a favourite because of the blend of colour and how focus is sharp at the front but blurred at the back; the photo is also high-key. The second photo (top right) has a good saturation and has a good death of focus and it shows how natural colours can be dull yet exciting. The last photo (bottom right) is especially my favourite because the photo is under-exposure and it has a really good viewpoint. The reason the viewpoint is so good is because it is in direct line of the sun so the sun light goes directly into the lens giving off this effect when the photo is taken. The thing I could improve on is the blur in some of the photos to make them sharper,I can do this during Photoshop.
Now I have finished my close up work I'm going to start Portrait.I may use some of the skills I've learnt in this project to influence some of my work in my future sets but that may not happen as I have some rough ideas of what I want to do in them sets.
