Portrait set 2
In this set I tried to use that idea of using light to show the mood of someone but instead got them to make a certain face to show how they were feeling. This was successful because when you look at some photos you can tell that they look agetated or annoyed. I took these during class while everyone was stressed out hence why they look annoyed or agitated. The reasons I took these photos is to develop the idea of using facial expression and lighting to show someones mood. Some of these photos aren't very good because they're blurred but they work in a way because it gives this effect that they're hiding their emotions by disrouting someone view . In the next set I hope to use the surroundings of someone to show their emotions. To add on to this I am going to try different types of portrait photography.
I picked this out of the set because the Fluorescent lighting lights up all the photo. As well as the camera blurs out the background only so all the focus are on the eyes. The reason I like this photo is because even though it doesn't show the entire face you can still tell just by looking in the eyes that he's tired and agitated about something. In post-processing I can change the colour of the eyes to add different moods or change the photo completely.
I picked this photo out of the set because since there was no lighting and the person had their hands over they're face you can tell they're a very shy person who doesn't like to be noticed as well as them being very moody all the time. I like this photo because they didn't notice I was taking the photo till the very last second and them they covered their face, this shows their true emotion and not what I told them to do. What I don't like about this photo is that it's under-exposure so you can't exactly see anything in the photo properly. In the future I'm going to make sure my photos are not really Low-key but make sure that its not too bright.
Photoshop photos
This photo shows how I can post process portraits. I didn't have an achivement in mind when I started this but when I did I decided to work on the eyes and the lighting becuase they're the only two features that I could work on. I did this by using different shading tools and effects to get the eyes in this certain way. I also used exposure and Hue/saturation to help make the eyes stand out and make the lighting in the photo a bit lighter and softer. This was successful because it now stands out and its a very original idea; I will most likely use this idea in other aspects of my project.
