In my independent project I’m going to focus on four artists Alan Ostreicher, Ansel Adams, Keith Taylor and Francois Delfosse.I will do this by basing my photos on their work like taking photos of objects close up so they’re so abstract they look like something else further more I will take close up of natural things like animals such as cats and dogs to flowers and other things. To add on to this I will do close up of man made things like computer parts, inside of plastic bags as well as things like shattered glass and torn fabric. I will link this to my class work because previously we have done work like close ups of flowers and computer parts. This will help me take better photos because I will know what is a better composition for the photo. What I will look at now is close up landscapes this means mainly focusing on textures to make them look like landscapes I will things like torn paper, tree bark, plastic bags and more. As well as this I will take close ups of natural things like flowers, animals and rust on metal. This will be effective because it will stand out. On Thursdays lesson I will use things like a motherboard from a computer and plastic bags and my point of focus will be the textures from these objects. In order to get close up of flowers and trees I will go out to the school garden and the playground to take photos of the flowers and tree bark. Some things I will do during this project is use a micro lens to get more of a closer and clearer close up photo, use Photoshop after I take the photo to make colors more vibrant or change the contrast.
